HOLIDAY GALA
Our elegant and fun-filled Holiday Gala was the grand culmination
of an eventful year in which our Queen won the National title, our numerous
showcases were well received by a wide variety of audiences, we were special
guests at the Commissioning of the USS NEW YORK and our monthly luncheons and
special parties highlighted the closeness of our New York Cameo family.
Our 2010 Holiday Gala will take place on December 16.

MS. NEW YORK SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT 2010
Our 2010 Pageant presented the elegance, glamour, talent, beauty and entertainment
which characterizes the spectacular style of Ms. New York Senior America.
Elisabeth Zamarelli was crowned our Queen 2010. This Pageant marked the Silver Anniversary of
Ms. New York Senior America.

QUEEN'S BALL POST PAGEANT CELEBRATION
The beautiful gala dinner/dance at the Southward Ho Country Club following the Pageant was a joyful celebration of
a festive and memorable day. The elegant ball featured fine dining, delightful music for dancing and warm
camaraderie as we celebrated our Silver Anniversary.
In 2011 the Queen's Ball will take place on April 10 immediately following our Pageant.

NATIONAL SENIOR AMERICA PAGEANT
The 2009 Ms. Senior America Pageant took place October 5 - 8 at Harrah's in Atlantic City. Those of us who attended the Pageant had a ball and were very proud of our ladies.
- We are proud that our Gail King, Ms. New York Senior America 2009, was crowned MS. SENIOR AMERICA 2009.
- Our Seasoned Steppers dance troupe received many accolades for their dance performance of One Singular Sensation.
- Helen McCarney, Ms. Senior America 2005 (Ms. New York Senior America 2005), brought the house down with her fabulous act.
- Ms. New York Senior America received the trophy for having the largest Cameo Club in Ms. Senior America for the third consecutive year.
- Helen McCarney was elected Vice President of the National Cameo Club.
The 2010 National Pageant is scheduled for October 3 - 7 at Harrah's in Atlantic City.

FASHION SHOW
Ms. New York Senior America's second annual fashion show, September 16, was a glorious, glamorous affair,
replete with a delicious luncheon, chic designs modeled by our gals, spectacular entertainment and
participation in singing and harmonizing the good old popular songs,
and the plethora of beautiful baskets which were raffled off.
Our next Fabulous Fashion Show will take place on September 15, 2010, at the Coral House in Baldwin.
4TH ANNUAL MS. NEW YORK SENIOR AMERICA FLORIDA REUNION
Many members of our New York Senior America family traveled to Florida in February to enjoy the
fourth annual reunion with Ethel Bennett, our icon and inspiration.
The festivities included a lovely luncheon, replete with delightful entertainment.
Our large group was so happy to share the warmth and camaraderie of this very special event.
